Journalists working with ethnic media in California are invited to apply for training in covering mental health issues in underserved communities. The training is free and available for to up to ten journalists. Those who are selected for the program will be eligible for a $500 award. Those selected for the program are expected to complete the training, which will be conducted via webinar on May 20 and 21, and publish or broadcast a story that addresses mental health in their respective community.
