Rent-To-Own Is Not The Only Option

Last summer, I leased a new washer and dryer from a national rent-to-own company against my better judgement. With my family’s strapped budget, it was a decision made out of desperation instead of common sense.

My monthly payments of $118.53 seemed a bit high, but I was so excited to get my appliances the same day, I didn’t care about the consequences that might arise down the road. Turns out, I was paying too much.
